Change Log

Log showing changes made to the system. You can view this log by a specific date range and/or specific sub-system, or only show global changes (i.e. system security). There are also filtering capabilities within the grid to limit the amount of data presented on the screen. By default, the Date Range From will be one year from the current date. Enter in your search criteria, then select Next.

Like any Grid View, this screen can be customized to show only columns you want to see and in what order you want to see them.

There are multiple places in the system that give date/time stamps. You can take those dates and use them in the Change Log to see exactly what or who made those changes. For example:

View/Trend

There are columns to the far right that show Last Changed On. Use this date in the Change Log to find out what was changed.

Modified date on screens

This one is a little less reliable since it could be just about anything and not everything in Pak Accounting is tracked in the Change Log. However, it’s a clue that can be used.

BPM List

Grand totals will be listed at the end of the report along with a line for the percentage of total. You can view this log by a specific date range and/or specific sub-system or only show global changes (i.e. system security). There are also filtering capabilities to limit the amount of data presented on the screen.

Sub-Account Check Active

This Utility has several features to help you manage your Sub-Accounts.

The basic listing tells you which Sub-Accounts have not had activity since the as of date.

If you are sharing Sub-Account across multiple companies or you have a master company that has all the Sub-Accounts in, you may want to also check for activity in other companies

For Sub-Accounts that are active, you can report on the most recent transaction date. This is the last time a transaction was posted to any account using this Sub-Account

NOTE: This is NOT a utility that is normally run against investors (revenue/billing working and royalty owners), in that royalty owners, for example, typically will not have any GL entries coded with their owner number.

Also see Utilities - Sub-Account Check Active for information on the "For Sub-Accounts that have no activity, change their inactive date to mm/dd/yyyy" option.
