Owner Unclaimed Property Maintenance
Owner Unclaimed Property Maintenance- Prior to any of the reports, Pak Accounting will double check the Unclaimed Property's owner’s information that was identified at the beginning of the process with the current information (by automatically running the comparison report), and if it is different, it will let you know of the difference. Differences would be some indication that you have had contact with that owner, and perhaps they should NOT have their amount escheated to the state. When finalizing a state, the owner’s unclaimed property maintenance locks the records as they were sent to the state.
For each difference: Using the Unclaimed Property Reporting Owner Maintenance: "Find" the owner. Then make the determination to either click on “Exclude owner” or “Reload Owner info” depending on if the owner generated some actual activity or some other activity changed the owner’s information.

NOTE: If you are trying to find a particular owner and that owner is not found, an error message will indicate that the owner was not found.
