This screen provides the option to print the 1096-NEC form by state or by status (original, corrected, transmitted). A Pre-printed 1096 is a required IRS form if you are submitting by mail.  You may print an office copy on plain paper if submitting electronically.

 

Print Form 1096 - Process

1. If this is the final return (the last return that will be submitted for the company), check the corresponding box.

2. Print the 1096 for the IRS on a pre-printed form. This is an IRS requirement.

3. Print an office copy of the 1096 on plain paper or save to file for your company records..
