OGP Daily Production

Enter daily gauges and meter readings for your storage facilities to track inventory. If not tracking inventory, then this is not needed.

Although manual entries is an option, importing this information can save a lot of time. Please see Imports for more information.

Notes on daily gauges and meter readings.

The production date must be in the current cycle or after.

The production cycle runs from the 2nd of the month through the 1st of the following month since readings will occur the day after production. This is for reporting purposes.

oExample: readings entered on 01/02/23 as of 07:00 am, will be for the production from the previous day of 01/01/23.

oProduction entered on 1/1/2023 will pull into the 12/2022 cycle.

The system will display an error message if the production date is invalid for the current cycle or after.

Sales – totals of the Run Tickets since the last Ticket.

Other Disposition – entries into the Disposition section

TECH TIP: The following tip is for a company that has existing production within the system: To get the beginning balances into the system, for example December 20XX , go into  Daily Production and enter daily readings for November 20XX (usually dated the last day of the month). Then, start a cycle (for November 20XX) and update it. This will establish the beginning balances for December 20XX (so that the user may go into #10 Daily Production and enter their normal daily readings for December 20XX).  The Tank ID box also has a tank adjustment factor that is adjusted every time a run ticket is entered so that the tank correction is stored at the tank level. Additionally, the production month is from the second of the month to the first of the following month.
