This screen allows you to list users that are currently logged into Pak Accounting. If it is necessary to do a controlled shutdown, a message can be sent to all users logged in asking them to exit the system in a certain amount of time. When it is closer to the shutdown time, a message will be sent informing the users of how many minutes there are until shut down. New users will be prevented from starting Pak Accounting. In addition, Pak Accounting will shut down users that have no activity for a certain amount of time.
On users other than the one that initiated the shutdown:
1. If the user’s machine has been idle for more than 30 minutes AND it is within 15 minutes of the Logout time,
2. Or if (user’s machine has been idle for more than 15 minutes AND it is within 5 minutes of the Logout time,
then the user will be logged off.
If it is within 2 minutes of the Logout time:
1. If the user is running a critical process then trigger a shutdown after the critical process has finished.
2. If user is not running a critical process,
then log off the user.
Unless the user is running a critical process, when the user is logged in and gets within two minutes of the shutdown time he/she will be prompted to respond to one of the following messages every two minutes:
'The system is scheduled to shutdown due to xxxxxxxxxxxx.'
'Without further action on your part, the system will automatically shutdown.'
'Do you want to Shutdown now or finish your current task?'
Message:
To stop the Message after all users are out, the original sender needs to go back in to Send Msg, Delete will now be an option. Click Delete and the message will stop being sent.
