Pak Accounting’s House Meter System is a program that automates and streamlines the functions of tracking natural gas metered usage. All you need to enter is the ending meter readings for each customized meter and the system will take care of the rest. It will track year-to-date free and bill the resulting accounts receivable to end users, and takes the process one step further to include the transactions in the payout to the mineral owners.

Pak Accounting Interface: HMS interfaces existing account and lease information from the General Ledger to achieve the tracking usage and accounts receivable. HMS can also interface with the Revenue Distribution System Module to complete the optional payout to mineral owners.The entire process (input meter readings, calculations, invoices, payouts, and reports) is done quickly and without duplication of efforts or information.

Features include:

•Simple to make changes after you have already entered in your meters.

•Prints invoices for metered usage and tracks the annual "free gas" allowance.

•Creates A/R entries to G/L for invoices with income flowing either to G/L income account or to Revenue to distribute to the appropriate owners.
