The number to respond is the number of users who would be required to respond to an alert. The lists of users at the bottom of the screen are the users who would receive the alert. If they are checked “response required”, that user’s response will be required regardless of the “number to respond”.
NOTE: Each User ID receiving an alert needs to have an e-mail address defined in the User Security Maintenance.
